My ShopRite trip - 66% off retail!
I just unpacked my haul from this week's ShopRite trip. Retail price $364.90. I paid $122.22 out of pocket. Not extreme couponing - but not bad either. Here's just some of the items I bought:

Here are some more coupon matchups:
- Wish-Bone Salad dressing - on sale 2 for $3. Use the $1 off of 2 coupon from the 7-31 R1 circular. That brings the price down to 2 for $2.
- V8 V-Fusion Juice or Juice + Tea - on sale for $1.99. Use the $1 off coupon from the 8-7 S to bring the total down to $.99. You save $2.26 per bottle.
- Purex 50oz - on sale 3 for $7. Alone this isn't the best deal you can get on Purex detergent. Use it with the $.50 off of 1 coupon (you'll need 3 of them) to get the price down to 3 for $4. That's $1.33 per bottle. You'll save $2.86 per bottle. These coupons are limit 4 per shopping trip and they expire 8/20.
- Soft Scrub Cleansers - 2 for $5. Use the $1.50 off of 1 coupon from the 8-7 RP to bring the cost down to $1 per cleanser.
- To get even better savings ShopRite has a promotion where if you buy 6 items from a specific group (soft scrub & purex are included in this group) you'll receive a Catalina coupon for $5.
- I plan to buy 3 bottles of Purex and 3 bottles of Soft Scrub (with coupons) to get the $5 Catalina coupon. I'm going later today so I'll let you know how it works out.

I've been busy today so it'll be a little while before I get some more coupon matchups for ShopRite up. I did get there today to stock up for the month on Perdue chicken & ground chicken breast. Last day of the 40% off Perdue sale. It's usually the first week of the month.

Target trip
I finally got to Target yesterday. I admit, I spent more than I wanted to. I paid full price for certain items because we needed them & couldn't wait for a sale. I also bought my son some organic baby food that I haven't seen on sale (Plum Organics Puffs & Mum Mum Cookies), but I did have a Target coupon for them.
I did manage to save 27% off of my total bill. Not what I usually save at ShopRite (50-60%), but I did need some things. Lesson learned - start a small "stockpile" of things usually purchased every few months. I might have to reorganize our mud room a bit to make some room.
Next trip this week: ShopRite for their Purdue 40% off sale.

Planning My Target Trip
I'm planning my Target trip for tomorrow. I'd like to stick with my list. I don't have coupons for everything - we're actually running short on some things so I will have to pay the sale price only (gasp). I'm trying to match up as many coupons to my list as possible.
Did you know that you can "stack" coupons at Target? That means for one item you can use one Target coupon (if it's available) and one manufacturer's coupon. For example, Nutri-Grain bars are on sale for $2.50 each box. I have a manufacturer coupon for $1 off of two boxes. I also found a Target coupon for $1 off of two boxes. That will bring my total cost out of pocket to $1.50 per box. I'm sure others can do better, but I'm ok with that price.

Great deal on Egglands Best Eggs at Wegmans!
I stopped into Wegmans today to pick up a few things, including eggs and scored a pretty good deal on Egglands Best Eggs. The 18 count package usually retails for $3.69. If you have the Wegmans card you get the eggs for $1.99. I combined that sale with the $.35 coupon (Wegmans doubles coupons) and got the eggs for $1.29! We eat a lot of eggs. This is a huge score for us!
I missed the newspaper insert (7/31) with the Egglands Best coupons so I ordered mine from Coupon Dede. If you missed out on the coupon like I did order yours from Coupon Dede. I ordered multiple coupons since we eat so many eggs. This coupon doesn't expire until 12/31/11.
