Target has online coupons that can be used at their store AND you can stack them with a manufacturer coupon. There current policy is that you can used one Target coupon and one manufacturer coupon per item.
Here's a tip that I learned the hard way. Each week or two go through the Target coupons and print those you may need even if they're not on sale. Target frequently rotates coupons so, for example, a Huggies coupon that was there last week, may not be there this week when there is a sale on Huggies.

Similac Formula
Brought the family to Target yesterday to stock up on some items. I was able to get Similac ready to feed organic formula for $2.19 a quart. I used a combination of $2 coupons (10 of them) and I had $20 in Similac vendor checks. It would have been a sweeter deal if I was able to score the formula on sale, but we needed it. Only a month and a half to go before I can start switching the little man from formula to milk.
We were also able to get a sale on the Filtrete Furnace filters. Regular price is $17.29 & we were able to get one for $14.29. Unfortunately, I left my Filtrete coupon at home & since it was snowing here I wasn't about to trek back out in the snow for an extra $3.

Target trip
I finally got to Target yesterday. I admit, I spent more than I wanted to. I paid full price for certain items because we needed them & couldn't wait for a sale. I also bought my son some organic baby food that I haven't seen on sale (Plum Organics Puffs & Mum Mum Cookies), but I did have a Target coupon for them.
I did manage to save 27% off of my total bill. Not what I usually save at ShopRite (50-60%), but I did need some things. Lesson learned - start a small "stockpile" of things usually purchased every few months. I might have to reorganize our mud room a bit to make some room.
Next trip this week: ShopRite for their Purdue 40% off sale.

Planning My Target Trip
I'm planning my Target trip for tomorrow. I'd like to stick with my list. I don't have coupons for everything - we're actually running short on some things so I will have to pay the sale price only (gasp). I'm trying to match up as many coupons to my list as possible.
Did you know that you can "stack" coupons at Target? That means for one item you can use one Target coupon (if it's available) and one manufacturer's coupon. For example, Nutri-Grain bars are on sale for $2.50 each box. I have a manufacturer coupon for $1 off of two boxes. I also found a Target coupon for $1 off of two boxes. That will bring my total cost out of pocket to $1.50 per box. I'm sure others can do better, but I'm ok with that price.
Another reason I'm making my list....I'm bringing along my 7 month old. It should be interesting.
